Disciples Club Day 2026: Ein Tag für den ganzen Verein

Sommerliche Temperaturen, Baseball im Ballpark und jede Menge gute Laune:
Beim Disciples Club Day gehörte der Tag ganz unserem Verein.

Die Idee hinter dem Club Day ist einfach: Wir bringen Menschen zusammen, die während der Saison oft in unterschiedlichen Teams unterwegs sind. Nachwuchsspieler, Erwachsene und Eltern standen gemeinsam auf dem Platz. Die Teams wurden bunt gemischt und für einen Tag spielten Alter, Mannschaft und Liga eine deutlich kleinere Rolle.

Am Vormittag gehörte das Feld vor allem unserem Nachwuchs. Spielerinnen und Spieler aus den Jugendteams traten gemeinsam mit Eltern in gemischten Teams an. Dabei stand der Spaß am Baseball im Vordergrund. Die Älteren halfen den Jüngeren und alle konnten ihren Teil zum Spiel beitragen.

Am Nachmittag ging es mit den Erwachsenen weiter. Auch hier wurden Spielerinnen und Spieler aus verschiedenen Disciples-Teams gemischt und gemeinsam aufs Feld geschickt.

Und natürlich bestand der Club Day aus mehr als Baseball. Gemeinsam aufbauen, spielen, anfeuern, zusammensitzen und den Sommertag im Ballpark genießen gehörten genauso dazu.

Genau deshalb ist der Club Day ein wichtiges Event für uns. Ein Verein besteht aus vielen Mannschaften, Altersklassen und Menschen. An diesem Tag kommen und spielen wir zusammen.

Ein großer Dank geht an alle, die mitgespielt, organisiert, aufgebaut, abgebaut, beim Catering geholfen oder einfach für gute Stimmung gesorgt haben!

Danke für alles, Babsi – Du wirst uns fehlen

Mit großer Bestürzung und Trauer nehmen wir Abschied von unserem langjährigen Disciples Mitglied und geschätzten Coach, Babsi von Kapff, die nach ihrer schweren Erkrankung am 06.08.2026 verstorben ist.

Wir alle sind fassungslos und zutiefst betrübt über diese Nachricht und können unsere Trauer nur schwer in Worte fassen.

Babsi war bei den Disciples ein Urgestein und eine treue Unterstützerin und darüber hinaus auch in der gesamten Softball- und Baseball-Community eine stets geschätzte Ansprechpartnerin. Mit großem Engagement setzte sie sich für unseren Sport ein und schloss alle Menschen in ihr großes Herz. Besonders bei den Kleinsten gelang es ihr in den letzten Jahren, viele Kids für Baseball zu begeistern.

Mit ihrem Tod verliert die Softball- und Baseball-Community eine ihrer größten Unterstützerinnen und wir alle einen wundervollen Menschen.

Babsi, du hinterlässt eine große Lücke! Wir werden dich und das, was du für den Verein und den Sport geleistet hast, nicht vergessen!

Wir wünschen der gesamten Familie viel Kraft in dieser schweren Zeit. Unsere Gedanken sind bei Euch!

ERFOLGREICHER BBQ-FIRMENCUP 2026

Das Wetter zeigte sich zunächst von seiner unbeständigen Seite, hielt letztlich aber durch und sorgte für beste Bedingungen. So konnten alle Teams einen sportlichen und abwechslungsreichen Tag genießen, bei dem Teamgeist, Spaß und der Austausch abseits des Arbeitsalltags im Mittelpunkt standen.

In spannenden und fairen Spielen setzte sich schließlich das Team der Bundesliga-Turner*innen des TSV Unterföhring knapp gegen Attocube durch und sicherte sich den Turniersieg. Der Wanderpokal macht damit vorerst Station in Unterföhring – herzlichen Glückwunsch an die verdienten Sieger!

Auch für unsere H1 als Ausrichter war der BBQ-Firmencup ein rundum gelungener Tag. Die positive Resonanz aller Teilnehmenden macht Lust auf mehr: Deshalb wird es am 11. September eine Neuauflage des Firmencups geben. Wer mit seinem Unternehmen oder Team einmal dabei sein möchte oder interessierte Firmen kennt, darf sich gerne bei uns per E-Mail melden!

Die Disciples zu Gast bei M94.5

Baseball und Softball in München

Unsere Spieler:innen Caspar Keller und Fiona von Kapff waren zu Gast bei M94.5 und haben die Disciples München-Haar im Studio richtig stark repräsentiert.

Im Gespräch mit Maria Eberwein geht es um Baseball, Softball und darum, was unseren Sport so besonders macht. Caspar erklärt, warum Baseball für viele zunächst ungewohnt wirkt, aber schnell begeistert. Fiona zeigt, was Softball auszeichnet und warum das Spiel durch das kleinere Feld besonders schnell und athletisch ist.

Besonders schön ist: Beide zeigen, wie offen unser Sport ist. Wer früh anfängt, hat natürlich Vorteile. Aber Caspar ist selbst erst mit 22 richtig eingestiegen. Entscheidend sind Motivation, Teamgeist und Lust auf etwas Neues. Genau das bringen Caspar und Fiona sympathisch rüber. Einfach toll.

Slide into the Season – gemeinsamer Team-Day der Disciples

Unter dem Motto „Slide into the Season“ sind die Disciples München-Haar gemeinsam in die neue Saison gestartet. Beim vereinsweiten Trainingstag kamen Baseball- und Softballteams aus dem gesamten Verein zusammen – vom Nachwuchs bis zu den Erwachsenen.

Über drei Stunden hinweg trainierten alle Teilnehmenden in gemischten Gruppen an verschiedenen Stationen. Werfen, Schlagen, Feldspiel und viele kleine Übungen standen auf dem Programm. Dabei ging es nicht nur um Technik, sondern vor allem um Austausch und gemeinsames Lernen.

Die Organisation und Trainingsleitung übernahm unser DBL-Team, das die Stationen vorbereitet und durch den Tag geführt hat. Vielen Dank an alle Spieler:innen und Coaches, die diesen Trainingstag möglich gemacht haben.

Headcoach Yves brachte die Idee hinter dem Tag auf den Punkt:

„Es geht darum, dass wir im Verein den Zusammenhalt stärken. Und so lernt man sich einfach besser kennen.“

Genau das hat dieser Tag gezeigt. Spieler:innen aus unterschiedlichen Teams standen gemeinsam auf dem Feld, haben sich ausgetauscht und neue Kontakte im Verein geknüpft.

Am Ende war für alle klar:

Der Tag hat Spaß gemacht, der Austausch hat funktioniert – und der Verein ist ein Stück enger zusammengerückt.

So fühlt sich Baseball und Softball in München und Haar an: gemeinsamer Sport, offene Atmosphäre und ein Verein, in dem Menschen zusammenkommen.

Ein gelungener Start in die Saison – ganz im Sinne von #uniteD.

Zwei Tage Baseball. Zwei Tage Bewegung.

Baseball & English Camp in Haar

Baseball in München beginnt im Kleinen. Bei den ersten Würfen. Beim ersten Treffer. Beim ersten Teamgefühl.

Am 19. und 20. Februar – in den letzten Tagen der Faschingsferien – fand in der Dreifachhalle im Sportpark Haar unser erstes Baseball & English Camp statt. Sieben Kinder zwischen 7 und 11 Jahren waren dabei. Fünf davon zum ersten Mal bei den Disciples.

Unser Ziel: Kindern in Haar eine neue Sportart zeigen. Verständlich. Bewegungsreich. Mit klaren Werten.

Was macht Baseball besonders?

Baseball trainiert Koordination, Konzentration und Ausdauer. Vor allem aber lehrt er etwas Entscheidendes:

Du kannst alles richtig machen – und trotzdem scheitern. Wichtig ist, wieder aufzustehen und weiterzumachen.

Genau das haben die Kinder gelernt.

Sie übten präzises Werfen, schlugen vom Tee (einer Schlaghilfe für Anfänger) und verstanden Schritt für Schritt, wie Punkte – sogenannte Runs – entstehen und was ein Out bedeutet.

Am Ende jedes Tages stand das Highlight: ein gemeinsames Spiel.

Und als die Eltern kamen, wollte eigentlich niemand nach Hause.

Sport trifft Englisch

Baseball ist geprägt von englischen Begriffen. Pitch, Catch, Run, Out.

Einer unserer Trainer ist ausgebildeter Englischlehrer und arbeitet mit Grundschulkindern. So konnten die Kinder ihre Schulkenntnisse direkt im Spiel anwenden – ohne Druck, aber mit viel Praxis.

Bewegung und Sprache. Ganz natürlich verbunden.

Typisch Disciples

Unsere Trainer arbeiten ehrenamtlich. Sie stehen nicht am Rand – sie machen mit.
Wir lachen. Wir schwitzen. Wir geben unser Bestes.

Bei uns gilt:

Wir sind fair.
Wir respektieren uns.
Wir werden jeden Tag ein Stück besser. Gemeinsam.

Mehrere Kinder haben sich im Anschluss direkt für ein Schnuppertraining angemeldet.

Türen auf mit der Maus

Türen auf mit der Maus – Ein Tag voller Begeisterung bei den Disciples München Haar e.V.

Baseball erleben, Begeisterung spüren, Gemeinschaft leben – unter diesem Motto öffneten die wir am 3. Oktober 2025 ihre Tore im Rahmen der bundesweiten Aktion „Türen auf mit der Maus“. Über 850 Veranstalter:innen in ganz Deutschland machten mit – und Haar zeigte eindrucksvoll, was es heißt, Baseball zu lieben.

Von Beginn an war klar: Hier geht es nicht nur um Sport, sondern um Leidenschaft. Auf dem Gelände unseres Ballparks erwartete die Besucher ein echtes Baseball-Erlebnis. Kinder, Familien und Fans konnten an verschiedenen Mitmachstationen selbst zum Schläger greifen, Bälle werfen und so spüren, was diesen Sport so besonders macht. Und sich an unseren Köstlichkeiten stärken.
Unsere Coaches, Spielerinnen und Spieler standen mit Rat, Tat und Herzblut zur Seite – und erklärten, warum Baseball mehr ist als nur ein Spiel: Es ist Teamgeist, Fairness und pure Freude am Wettkampf.

Ein besonderes Highlight war das U10-Turnier, bei dem die jungen Talente der Fürth Pirates, Laufer Wölfe, Füssen Royal Bavarians und der Munich-Haar Disciples aufliefen. Schon beim ersten Pitch war spürbar, mit welcher Begeisterung die Kids dabei waren. Unsere Disciples zeigten Einsatz, Spielfreude und Sportsgeist – ganz im Sinne der Werte, die wir im Verein leben.

Zwischen Anfeuerungsrufen, Applaus und jeder Menge lachender Gesichter wurde eines deutlich: Die Zukunft des Baseballs in Haar ist hell. Das Engagement unserer Nachwuchsspieler, Coaches, Eltern und Helfer machte diesen Tag zu einem echten Highlight – sportlich, familiär und mit jeder Menge Herzblut.

So wurde der „Maus-Tag“ bei den Disciples mehr als nur ein Aktionstag – er war ein starkes Zeichen dafür, wie lebendig Baseball in Haar ist.

Baseballcamp 2025 – Drei Tage Baseball, Wetterchaos und ganz viel Kinderlachen

Wenn Baseballkids nicht aus Zucker sind, dann beim Disciples-Camp!

Vom ersten Regentropfen bis zum letzten Sonnenstrahl war das diesjährige Baseballcamp eine Achterbahnfahrt der Elemente – und eine glasklare Bestätigung: Baseball ist für alle da. Egal ob vier oder vierzehn Jahre alt. Egal ob Sonnenschein oder Seitenwind.

Tag 1: Gummistiefel statt Stollenschuhe?

Der erste Camp-Tag begann… sagen wir: eher flüssig. Der Regen meinte es gut – mit den Pflanzen. Unsere über 60 kleinen Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer ab vier Jahren ließen sich davon aber überhaupt nicht beeindrucken. Stattdessen wurde gelacht, geworfen, geschlagen – und ja, auch ein bisschen geplanscht. Und mal ehrlich: Wer kann schon von sich behaupten, ein Regenlauftraining auf matschigem Infield gemacht zu haben?

Tag 2: Mit Rückenwind zur Höchstform

Am zweiten Tag wurde der Regen vom Wind abgelöst – ein Upgrade in Sachen Frisuren-Chaos und fliegende Basecaps. Die Kinder ließen sich davon kein Stück aus der Balance bringen. Im Gegenteil: Beim Werfen, Schlagen, Fangen und Laufen an unseren vier abwechslungsreichen Stationen zeigten die Kids echte Ausdauer und Disziplin. Unterstützt wurden sie dabei von erfahrenen Spielerinnen und Spielern aus unseren Baseball- und Softball-Teams, die mit viel Engagement, Geduld und Humor für leuchtende Augen sorgten.

Tag 3: Sonnenschein, Home Runs und High Fives

Am letzten Camp-Tag hatte das Wetter dann endlich ein Einsehen – die Sonne strahlte mit den Kindern um die Wette. Perfekte Bedingungen für das große Abschlussspiel, viele kleine Erfolgserlebnisse und eine letzte Runde um die Bases. Ein gelungener Abschluß von 3 Tagen Baseball!

Unser Fazit? Grand Slam!

60 Kinder, 3 Tage, 3 Wetterlagen und unzählige magische Momente. Das Baseballcamp hat mal wieder gezeigt: Mit Teamgeist, Flexibilität und einer Portion Humor wird aus jedem Wetterbericht ein Baseball-Erlebnis.

Ein riesiges Dankeschön an alle Trainerinnen und Trainer, Helfer, Eltern – und natürlich unsere unerschrockenen Nachwuchsstars.

Und ein besonderer Dank und großes Lob gilt allen helfenden Händen auf dem Feld, an den Stationen, am Ofen, im Zelt und hinter den Kulissen, dem Rewe Gronsdorf Daniel Strümpfle, dem starken Team vom Sportpark der Stadt Haar und dem Zeltbau Otto Hainz.
